How to Edit Payment Terminal Names
Terminal names are a useful way to easily distinguish between the different payment terminals at your venue. The terminal name is used when originally setting up your physical payments terminal and is also referenced within several different payments reports. Therefore, it is highly important that you are able to identify each terminal based on the name you give it.
Below are the steps to change a terminals name:
- Login to the POSaBIT payments portal
- Select the "Terminals" page found under the "Account" drop down on the far left hand side of the page.
- Once you have identified which terminal you would like to edit based on the terminal ID, press the "Edit" icon on the far right hand side of the corresponding row.
- On the terminal edit screen, enter in the terminal name you would like to use on the field labeled "Terminal Name".
- Finally, press the blue "Submit" button at the bottom of the form to save the name to the terminal.
