How do I check if a transaction went through?

If you are unsure if a transaction was successful, there are several different ways that you can look up the transaction to check. This article outlines our recommended steps to check if the transaction ran successfully or not:

  1. Log into the POSaBIT payments portal
  2. Using the "Recent Sales" table on the dashboard, try to locate the purchase.
  3. Select Reporting from the left side menu.
  4. Under Financial Reports select Purchase History - Between Dates.
  5. Select the date/time selector and narrow down the time frame to when the purchase was made then press the green "Run" button to generate the report
  6. Attempt to locate the purchase within the generated reports.
  7. If you are unable to locate the purchase in both of these reports reach out to POSaBIT support and provide the following information so we can assist you in locating the purchase:
    • Your venue name
    • Purchase date / time
    • Customer's Name
    • Confirmation code / transaction ID
