How to Enable Categories, Brands, and Deals Pages on the Menu
The menu toolbar settings will allow you the option to turn on categories, brands, and a deals page. You can choose which of the three you'd like to show on your menu by using your menu settings.
To enable these toolbar pages, go to the Inventory dropdown on the portal, then go to the Menu Feeds page. From here, locate the menu you want to set the toolbar up for and click Edit. Scroll down until you locate the Menu Toolbar portion of the settings page. See below for a breakdown of each toolbar page:
Menu Toolbar - these flags control the visibility of each toolbar item
- Display Categories button on toolbar - If enabled, the categories page will be visible & accessible on the menu. The categories page provides a list of categories created within the home page configuration, making it easier to navigate.
- Display Brand button on toolbar - If enabled, the brands page will be visible & accessible on the menu. The brands page provides a list of brands available at your venue, allowing users to easily filter the menu and view products from a specific brand.
- Display Deals button on toolbar - If enabled, the deals page will be visible & accessible on the menu. The deals page provides a list of "discounts" available at your venue, allowing users to easily filter the menu and see a list of products that fit within a certain discounts criteria.
Notice:
- The Categories, Brands, and Deals pages will be disabled by default. Navigate to the menu settings, then enable/disable the flags under the Menu Toolbar settings.
- All categories are enabled to show on the categories page by default. Once the categories page is enabled, all categories will appear with a default image.
- All discounts will have the flag checked by default and a default image attached. As soon as the merchant enables the deals toolbar item, those discounts will start populating on the deals page.
