Why am I receiving an "Over Limit" error on the POS?

The “Over Limit” error occurs when a customer is trying to purchase products that exceed your state's purchasing limits. These limits are set on a state-by-state basis and can vary depending on customer type and product type. 

 

Steps to resolve error:

  1. Removing an item or two from the cart will most likely drop the purchase below the purchase limit for that customer.
  2. If you believe this the customer is not exceeding your states purchase limit, reach out the POSaBIT support so we can help investigate!
