ELO Z30 POS Overview
We have recently deployed Z30 POS devices, and with that comes some differences in troubleshooting and other settings, though some remain similar to other devices.
How to Shutdown your Z30?
Behind the screen, there is a power button and a home button, hold these two down for about 10 seconds for the device to shut down. Turn back on by holding the power button for a few seconds.
How to View the Device Details
If you click the power button and home button at the same time, a screen displaying the name of the device, the serial number, the time, and the date will show.
How to Connect to Wifi
Go to Android Settings --> Network & Internet --> Wifi --> Select your wifi and login
How to Update Elo Device
- Click the hamburger menu on the top right side of the ELO home screen
- Click Admin
- Enter password: 1elo
- Click Settings (Notice: Never use Elo Settings)--> Diagnostics (Notice: Never use Enterprise Reset)
- On the right-hand side, you will select Update Device.
How to Reboot your Elo Z30 Device
- Click the hamburger menu on the top right side of the ELO home screen
- Click Admin
- Enter password: 1elo
- Click Settings (Notice: Never use Elo Settings)--> Diagnostics (Notice: Never use Enterprise Reset)
- On the right-hand side, you will select Reboot.
Adjusting Android Settings
Go to the device settings from the home page to make any additional setting changes
