How to setup a Sitemap for a POSaBIT Hosted Menu
Sitemaps outline the structure of your website's pages and their relationships. This acts as a model for search engine optimization, helping search engines properly index websites. As a result, this helps improve the searchability of your website, ensuring that all of your website pages are accessible from search engines.

Add your website to Google's Search Console
In order to add your website to Google's Search Console, you will first need to link your website property to your Google account via the Search Console.
You can do this by following the instructions laid out HERE (https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/34592?hl=en)
Upload your website's sitemap via Google's Search Console
Once you have linked your website property to Google's Search Console, you are able to upload the Sitemap using the instructions below.
- First, you will need to grab the URL of your POSaBIT-hosted menu's home page.
- To do this, navigate to your ecomm menu and copy the "URL".
This will likely be "menu.(your website URL)" - Navigate to "https://search.google.com/search-console" while logged into your Google account.
- Using the dropdown in the top left-hand corner, select the website property you previously linked to this account.
- Once selected, scroll down and select "Sitemaps" from the Indexing navigation section on the left.
- Next, locate the "Enter sitemap URL" field within the "Add a new sitemap" section and enter your menu's URL followed by "/sitemap.xml"
- For example, if your menu's URL is "menu.example.com" you would enter "menu.example.com/sitemap.xml"
- Once entered, select the "Submit" button to link your sitemap.
