Printing Order Pad Pick List Receipts from a Secondary Printer

Pick list receipts for in-store or online order fulfillment can be configured to print to a dedicated printer via wifi. It is important to note that you must use a Star TSP100IIIW printer and will need a POSaBIT POS terminal to get this setup.

To Setup a Printer:

  1. Connect your Star TSP100IIIW printer to wifi - How to Connect a TSP100IIIW Printer to a Wi-Fi Network Using WPS
  2. Once connected, locate the printer's IP address. A slip of receipt paper should print with this information.
  3. From the POSaBIT POS portal, navigate to Settings > Order Pad Settings, click 'Edit' next to a terminal, then configure your terminal of choice to auto print receipts and select the proper 'Terminal Actions by Order Type'.
  4. From the terminal, enter in your employee pin number, click on hamburger menu in the top left corner of the application, then select 'Settings'.
  5. Enter the printer's IP address into the 'Wifi Star Printer for Order Pad Pick Lists' field.
  6. Navigate out of the POS settings and place a test order!
