How to Add Effects and Flavors/Aromas to Products

Effects and Flavors/Aromas can help to provide beneficial insight into your customer's preferences allowing you better to serve your customers and overall increase customer satisfaction. While Effects and Flavors/Aromas are not a requirement, they can help your budtenders recommend the perfect products based on each customer's preferences.

 

Within POSaBIT’s Portal, Effects and Flavors/Aromas are set up and managed within the product details profile. Once assigned to a product, POSaBIT will automatically link the Effects and Flavors/Aromas to the product within the POSaBIT POS.

 

Follow the steps below to learn how you can set up and utilize Effects and Flavors/Aromas:

  1. Login to the POSaBIT POS portal

  2. Navigate to the "Product Details" page found within the Inventory dropdown at the top of the page.

  3. Once on the Product Details page, you will see a list of all products sold at your venue. Using the filters on the left-hand side of the page, locate and press "Edit" on the product you would like to add Effects and Flavors/Aromas too.

  4. Scroll down to the Effects and Flavors and Aromas settings.

  5. Using the dropdown fields, add any Effects and/or Flavors/Aromas to the product.



  6. Once you have selected all Effects and Flavors/Aromas for a specific product, press the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the form to save the new data to the product profile. 

  7. Lastly, repeat steps 3-6 for any remaining products that you would like to assign Effects and Flavors/Aromas too.
