Recommendations Overview
Have you ever had a customer come into your shop who is isn't sure what they want, and ask the question, "what would you recommend?". Wouldn't it be nice if you could make a recommendation to the customer and tell them which products are hot right now, or give them the scoop on new product that just hit the shelf? Well now you can using the recommendation page on the POS!
Simply open the cart of a loyalty customer, then click on the 'Recommendations' tab from the right side menu. There are 3 categories that are automatically generated by POSaBIT that serve up best sellers, trending products, and new arrivals. Here is a breakdown of how each category is generated...
- Best Sellers: this is a stack ranked list of the most purchased product within the last 30 days.
- Trending: this is a stack ranked list of products that have seen the highest increase in sales over the past 7 days vs. the previous 7 days.
- New Arrivals: this is list of products that are new within the last 7 days.
From the recommendations page, the cashier can click on the product card to view more details or even click the 'Add' button to easily push the product into the cart.
