What does the POSaBIT Gateway Error mean?

The POSaBIT gateway error will appear for just a handful of reasons and is an indicator that the app is having trouble communicating to the POSaBIT servers.

If you come across this error, here is the recommended course of action:

  1. Check Internet Connectivity: The number one reason you are seeing this error is because of poor internet connection. The first thing you should do is ensure that your internet is working, and check that the device is connected to the internet.
    1. For QD Series Devices:
      1. Press the Android Home (Circle) button below the screen to return to the tile home screen
      2. Select Settings
      3. Select WLAN
      4. Verify the network you are using is selected and shows 'Connected'. Reconnect if necessary
      5. Use the Android Home (Circle) button to return to the tile home screen, and re-open the POSaBIT App
    2. For Nexgo N5 Devices:
      1. Swipe down from the top of the screen, then press and hold the WiFi icon
      2. Verify the network you are using is selected and shows 'Connected'. Reconnect if necessary
      3. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to bring up the navigation bar, tap the Android Home (Circle) button to return to the tile home screen
      4. Re-open the POSaBIT App
