Best Practices for Exporting Historical Data Before Debit Portal Access Ends
Overview: Why This Matters
Beginning January 1, 2026, users with Debit accounts will no longer have access to the POSaBIT Payments portal. Once access is removed, you will not be able to log in or download past reports. To avoid any disruption to your accounting or compliance workflows, export all historical data you may need before this date.
What Data Should I Export?
We recommend exporting any records that are relevant for:
- Financial reconciliation: Deposit reconciliation reports
- Internal accounting and audit purposes
To ensure your records remain secure and accessible, save the files in multiple secure locations (such as your company drive and a backup system).
Preparing to Export
Before you begin:
- Make sure you have valid login credentials for my.posabit.com.
- Confirm you have permission to access the Reporting section.
- Identify the date ranges you need to cover (from the start of operations up to December 31, 2025).
- Allocate time for the task. Large amounts of data are easiest to export one month at a time.
