How to Import Product Data from Cultivera

Product data from Cultivera—including SKU IDs and product image URLs—can be imported into POSaBIT. This data is used in two ways:

1. Cultivera SKU ID

POSaBIT maps your Cultivera SKU IDs to the corresponding products in POSaBIT. This mapping enables seamless exports from the POSaBIT Order Planner.

After building a reorder in Order Planner, you can export a Cultivera-compatible file and import it directly into Cultivera to quickly create a new cart, reducing manual work and streamlining the ordering process.

2. Product Images

POSaBIT imports the image URLs associated with your Cultivera products and automatically maps them to the matching products in the POSaBIT Product Catalog.

This significantly reduces the time required to populate product images. Any product with an image in Cultivera will automatically have that image applied to its corresponding product in the Product Catalog, making it immediately available for retailers to use on their in-store and online menus.

Step by Step Instructions:

1. Login to your Cultivera account.
2. There are 2 ways to export from Cultivera:
   1. Catalog Groups - Best for exporting your current catalog images and SKU ids. This is helpful for populating your images in your POSaBIT Product Catalog.
      1. Navigate to Inventory Management (from the main menu) --> Catalog Groups (from submenu).
      2. Click the Export Groups to Excel button (located in the top right corner)
   2. Menu - Best for exporting your product SKUs - no images available with this export. This file contains SKU id. This is helpful for exporting from the POSaBIT Order Planner.
      1. Navigate to Inventory Management (from the main menu) --> Manage Menu (from submenu).
         1. Ensure the 'ALL' filter is selected, then Click the Share Menu button (located in the top right corner), then the Download button.
3. Login to your POSaBIT Brand Portal.
4. Navigate to the POSaBIT Product Catalog page to import your output file. Click the blue Import from Cultivera button below filters on the left side of the Products page in POSaBIT).
5. Select the file exported from Cultivera (Browse XLSX File).
6. Click Save.
   1. Your file will be imported and show the 'Status' as POSaBIT works to import the file.
   2. The status will turn to 'Complete' once it is done. Refresh the page to check on the current status.
