How to Turn On Order Rounding to the Nearest Dollar
Currently, the order rounding setting is under discounts and will allow orders to be an exact dollar amount instead of dealing with small amounts of change. This will help make your cash transactions easier to handle.
When enabled, this will always round the order down to the nearest dollar, technically granting customers a small discount on every transaction. This will apply to every order, there are no added steps on the POS. If a venue enables this setting, it is recommended they remove all discounts with discount rounding currently setup.
This feature can be enabled by going to the Marketing tab → Discounts → New Discount → under the Applies To select Order Rounding.
You will also be able to track the losses of these mini discounts under the Sales by Discount report.
