How to clear out the data on the POSaBIT app on Q2's?

  1. Swipe up on the screen or press the ‘o’ button in the bottom android menu to return to the main Android home screen.
  2. Select the “Settings” application
  3. In ‘Settings’, select "About POS"
  4. Select "POS Configuration"
  5. Select "Administrator Login"
  6. The password is 99999999 (eight 9's)
  7. If the correct password is entered, a confirmation pop up will appear stating that the administrator has logged in. Click Confirm.
  8. Hit the back arrow on the bottom left of the screen twice to return to the first Settings menu
  9. Select the hamburger menu (three horizontal lines) in the top right corner
  10. Select Apps
  11. Select POSaBIT Cloud POS
  12. Select Storage
  13. Finally, select “Clear App Data”. This will automatically wipe all data within the POSaBIT app.

 

When you do this it will sign you out of the POSaBIT app. To log back into the app, reach out to the POSaBIT support so they can provide you with the login information that should be used to log back into your venue.
