What do I do if transactions are timing out in the final stage?

If your payments device is timing out in the final stage of the transaction or having issues with freezing, you may need to perform a "Delete Reversal Message" to resolve the issue. Use the following steps to learn how to perform a "Delete Reversal Message":

 

  1. Click/hold down the green OK button on the debit terminal pin pad, and enter MANAGER PIN (1234), then click the green OK to enter.
  2. Select "Applications" > "Credit/Debit/EFT" > "Setup" > "Host Utility"
  3. Enter the MANAGER PIN (1234)
  4. Select "Point of Banking Features"
  5. Finally, press "Delete Reversal Message"
