What does a "Comm Error" mean on the Sunmi device?

A "Comm Error" or communication error indicated that the device is unable to connect to the internet. This can occur due to the device being to far away from your Wi-Fi router, your internet being down for your store, or occasionally the result of the actual device being broken.

 

In order to resolve this issue please follow the steps below:

  1. Ensure that other devices on your Wi-Fi network are connected to the internet
  2. Move your device to be closer / right next to your router
  3. Restart you Wi-Fi router
  4. Lastly, reach out to POSaBIT support with your venue name and the terminal that is having issues so that we can help resolve / replace the terminal that is having the issue.
