Confirming Transaction Status on OPC App

If your location is using a Point of Banking debit device with the OPC application, there is a Daily Report that can be viewed in order to look at the day's transactions on each device.

This can be especially useful if there is any uncertainty that a transaction went through with the POSaBIT app (i.e. lost internet connection, app crash, device reboot).

 

The following steps should be performed on the QD terminal:

  1. Click the Android Home button to close out of the POSaBIT Payments Application
  2. Click on the "OPC" application.
  3. Select the "Star" at the bottom of the screen
  4. Within the menu that pops up, click on the button labeled "Re-Print Receipt" in the top left corner
  5. On the "Re-Print" screen the merchant will see a list of recent transactions run on that terminal.
  6. If they do not see the transaction in question, they can attempt to search using the last 4 digits of the card using the "Card" field.
  7. If the transaction was successful and is showing up on this page, select it and press the "Green Arrow" in the top right hand corner to re-print the receipt.
  8. Lastly, reach out to POSaBIT support and provide the following information so that we can look into the the transaction and determine why that transaction showed as failed within the POSaBIT application:
    1. Venue Name
    2. Date/time
    3. Last 4
    4. Amount
