Debit Terminal is Stuck in Update Loop
If you ever find the debit terminal is stuck in an endless loop trying to update, you can disable auto updates on the debit terminal. To do this, follow these steps:
- Hold down the green OK button on the debit terminal until you get to the MANAGER PASSWORD screen, enter password (1234), then the green OK button
- Select Utility from the Core Menu, and enter MANAGER PASSWORD a second time (1234)
- Click Software Download
- Click Auto Download
- Select Feature
- Chose Off
- After you've selected Off, click the red "x" button on the pin pad to back out of the menus and to return back to the home screen of the debit terminal (POS Online Screen)
