How to Announce Consumer Logins to Your Customers

Your online menu now supports customer loyalty account logins — and we've put together ready-to-use email and SMS templates to help you spread the word to your customers. Simply choose the format that works best for you, swap in your store details, and send.


Before You Send

Make sure you have the following ready to fill in before using any of the templates below:

  • [Store Name] — Your store's name as you'd like it to appear to customers
  • [Customer First Name] — This should be populated automatically if you're sending through a CRM or marketing platform
  • [INSERT MENU LINK] — The URL for your POSaBIT Ecomm Menu


Email Templates

Option 1: Short Announcement

Best for: Merchants who want a quick, to-the-point message for customers already familiar with their loyalty program.


Subject: Your Loyalty Account Is Now on Our Online Menu

Big news — you can now log in to your loyalty account directly from [Store Name]'s online menu.

Once logged in, you'll be able to check your point balance and redeem rewards at checkout, as well as browse your past purchases and add your favorite products back to your cart in one click.

Head to [INSERT MENU LINK] and select the profile icon in the top right corner to get started.

Option 2: Detailed Overview

Best for: Merchants who want to fully educate their customers on the new functionality, or who have a mixed audience of existing loyalty members and newer customers.


Subject: Your [Store Name] Loyalty Account Just Got a Whole Lot Better

Hi [Customer First Name],

We're always looking for ways to make your experience with [Store Name] easier and more rewarding — and today we have an update we think you're really going to appreciate.

You can now log in to your loyalty account directly from our online menu at [INSERT MENU LINK]. No separate app, no extra steps. Just your loyalty account, right where you shop.

Here's what you can do once you're logged in:

🎁 Redeem Your Loyalty Points at Checkout See your current point balance and apply available rewards directly in your cart before you check out. Your discount is applied instantly, so what you see is what you pay.

🛒 Browse Your Purchase History & Buy Again Every order you've placed with us using your loyalty account is saved and accessible from your profile. Find a product you loved? Hit "Buy Again" and it's added to your cart immediately — no searching required.

Getting started is simple:

  3. Log in with your phone number — we'll send you a quick verification code via text

Option 1: Short & Direct

Best for: A simple announcement to your existing loyalty members.

Option 2: Benefit-Led

Best for: Driving customers to the menu by leading with what's in it for them.


[Store Name]: Good news — you can now check your loyalty points, redeem rewards, and reorder past favorites directly from our online menu. Log in now at [INSERT MENU LINK]


Tips for Sending

  • Personalize where possible. Using your customer's first name in emails significantly improves open and click rates.
  • Time it right. Consider sending your announcement mid-week when customers are more likely to be planning their next order.
  • Follow up. If you send the short email or SMS template first, consider following up a week later with the detailed overview to capture customers who didn't engage the first time.
  • Enable the feature first. Make sure Consumer Logins are enabled on your POSaBIT Ecomm Menu before sending any customer-facing communications.
