How to Enable Consumer logins on your POSaBIT Ecomm Menu
Enabling Consumer Logins allows your customers to log in to their existing loyalty accounts directly from your online menu. Once logged in, they can view their purchase history, redeem loyalty rewards during checkout, and manage their personal contact information.
Follow the steps below to enable this feature in your portal.
Step 1: Navigate to POSaBIT Menu Settings
- Log in to the POSaBIT portal at app.posabit.com
- On the top navigation bar, select Settings.
- From the dropdown menu, select POSaBIT Menu Settings.
Step 2: Enable the Feature
Locate the checkbox at the top of the page titled:
Enable customer profiles on the ecommerce menu
Check this box to turn on the main login functionality.
Step 3: Configure User Permissions
Once the main feature is enabled, you can customize what your customers are allowed to do by enabling the optional settings below:
- Enable Loyalty point redemption on the ecommerce menu
- What it does: Allows logged-in users to view their current point balance and redeem available rewards directly within the cart before checkout.
- Allow users to update personal information via the ecommerce menu
- What it does: Allows users to self-edit their loyalty profile data. If enabled, customers can update the following fields:
- First Name & Last Name
- Email Address
- Phone Number
- What it does: Allows users to self-edit their loyalty profile data. If enabled, customers can update the following fields:
Step 4: Save Changes
Once you have selected your desired settings, scroll to the bottom of the form and click Save.
