How to Update Personal Information via a POSaBIT Ecomm Menu
In addition to accessing purchase history & loyalty rewards, consumers can now update their personal information on their loyalty profile directly within the POSaBIT Ecomm Menu.
Follow the steps below to update personal information linked to an existing loyalty account.
Step 1: Log In to the POSaBIT Ecomm Menu
To update personal information on a loyalty account, the user must first log in:
- Open the store's online menu.
- Select the Profile Icon in the top right-hand corner.
- Click Login | Sign Up.
- Enter the phone number associated with the account.
- Choose a login method:
- SEND CODE: Receive a One-Time PIN (OTP) via SMS (Recommended).
- Login with Password: Enter the account password.
If the user has a loyalty account but no password, they should use the SEND CODE option.

If a user has not set a password and no longer has access to their phone number, the phone number must be manually updated by you using the POSaBIT POS terminal or backend portal
Step 2: Navigate to the Personal Information Page
- Select the Profile Icon in the top right-hand corner.
- Click Personal Info from the dropdown menu.
Step 3: Update Personal Information fields
- Once on the "Personal Information" page, the user is able to edit the following fields:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Phone NumberFor security reasons, the user will be prompted to log in again in order to confirm they are the owner of the account. They must first select "Edit" next to the Phone number field. Once selected, they will be prompted to log in using either an SMS OTP or their pre-set password. Upon completing the login flow, the user will be able to enter a new phone number.
- Email AddressWhen a user updates their phone number or email, a one-time code will be sent to the new phone number/email that was entered. This will ensure that the user has access to that email and didn't accidentally enter anything incorrectly.
- Password (Set/Update)Similar to the phone number, the user will be prompted to log in again in order to confirm they are the owner of the account prior to being able to create/edit the password linked to the loyalty account.
- Once the user has updated their desired fields, they must select "Save" to save the new personal information to their account.
