How to Enable "Other" as a Payment Type
The following article walks through how to enable "Other" as an accepted payment type on the POSaBIT POS. This will allow you to tender out a cashless payment solution that is not directly integrated with the POSaBIT POS. Additionally, transactions that are tendered as "Other" will show up as a separate payment type within your POS reporting portal.
How to enable "Other" as a tender method on the POS:
- Log in to app.posabit.com.
- Using the top navigation bar, select "Settings" -> "General POS Register Settings".
- Locate the sub-section titled "Till & Payment Settings".
- Within the Payment Methods table, locate the row containing the "Other" option, then select the "Edit" button.
- Finally, ensure the "Active" checkbox is enabled, then select "Save" to add "Other" as a tender option on your POS.
